Perfectionism
“It is not that they made a mistake, it is that they are the mistake”
Perfectionism is often defined as the need to be or appear perfect or even to believe that it’s possible to achieve perfection. It is typically viewed as a positive trait rather than a flaw. People may use the term “healthy perfectionism” to describe or justify perfectionistic behavior. Perfectionism is not the same thing as striving to be your best.
Perfectionism can be categorized as two things. All or nothing. I embraced the duality of perfectionism and tried to capture the visible and ignored chaos of perfectionism.
